The Observatoire des Violences Sexistes et Sexuelles (VSS) dans l’Enseignement Supérieur (The Observatory of Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) in Higher Education) publishes the newest edition of its SGBV in higher education barometer. This survey is intended for everyone having studied in a French higher education and research institution, public or private, in 2025 and 2026. Its objective is to establish an overview of the current state of violence in higher education, identify overlaps with other forms of discrimination, and find better ways to fight this violence, support the victims and encourage the relevant parties to take action.

The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete and can be completed over several sessions.
It is not necessary to have been a victim or a witness of sexual and gender-based violence to take part in this survey.
